Oregon Coast

an extension of the birthday fun   Most people had to take off to get back to work, so we said our good byes to most of the gang and drove away from the lake house.  Luckily, BnD had offered for us to spend the week of the 4th at the oregon coast with them so we obviously said yes.

4or5 more days of relaxing and enjoying and soaking up family.  Couldn't have asked for more of the birthday week.  The oceanside fireworks experience never disappoints as dozens of families gather on the beach to light off really impressive displays of fireworks, most of questionable legality.

We spend the remainder of the week surfing each morning eating and drinking delicious meals and wine in the evenings and spending most of our time in between either on the beach or playing games.  Simple.  Fun.  Perfect.
